Method

  1. For the pistachio paste:

    1. Peel the pistachios and mix them with the oil.
    2. Toast at 170ºC for 12-15 minutes. Then, place them in a food processor or blender.
    3. Grind until obtaining a paste.

    For the pistachio matcha latte: Add the matcha tea powder to a glass and gradually add hot water while stirring until no lumps remain (ideally, use a bamboo stick specifically for matcha tea).

    1. Add a tablespoon of pistachio paste and mix.
    2. Heat the milk and froth with the help of a frother.
    3. Add the agave syrup to the glass where you are going to serve the drink followed by the matcha and pistachio mixture.
    4. Finish by adding the hot milk little by little. 
    5. Decorate with matcha tea powder and chopped pistachio nuts.

Tips

If you don’t have a bamboo matcha stick, you can use a metal stick or a milk frother.
