In a pot, heat the oil and sauté the garlic together with the onion for 2-3 minutes.
4. Add the spices and stir.
5. Add the pumpkin, almonds, dried apricots, water and salt.
6. Cover and cook over medium heat for 35 minutes.
7. Turn off the heat and blend with the blender until you get a fine and thick consistency.
8. Serve hot with pepper and chopped almonds on top.
